lump on upper arm

hello, i have had a lump on my upper arm for about 7months it started tiny then grew and is now about pea sized it did itch and bled to start with but now it is just a solid lump and it nolonger hurts
could this be a cyst?

From the symptoms the possibility of sebaceous cyst needs to be ruled out. It is a closed sac which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin. Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
