many cracks and lesions on head of penis

This happened about 5 years ago and i've been too embarassed to say anything about it. i have not engaged in sexual activity so i know it's not an std. it occured when i started using scented lotion during masterbation. however when the lotion would wear off i wouldn't bother using anymore of it and continue masterbating. this made it kind of rough down their considering the lotion had worn off. and the skin became tough. i then noticed the head of my penis had a few cracks. i figured they would go away and i continued to masterbate. i would masterbate many times a day and i've never really gone more than 4 or 5 days without masterbating. i've read on the internet that the skin is irritated due to a lack of lubrication along with the scented lotion. since i never wanted to show a partner this, i became depressed and as a result i would masterbate more often. to the point where i felt it was peeling. i would stop for a day when this occured. and it seemed to go back to normal. fast foward 5 years and i now have alot more of these cracks/lesions and bumps. the bumps arent warts or anything like that. they appear to have been from the excessive masterbating. they're very small like the skin is scarred. scar dots. when my penis is flaccid the cracks are closed off. but when i'm erect it opens up. however i noticed when i go a few days without masterbating the skin on the head is alot more smooth to the touch. but the cracks are still there. and the bumps are still there. it's extremely hideous. like freddy kruegers face or scaly alligator skin. it looks as if i had literally scraped the skin off the top off my penis head. this has caused greater depression. i just want to know if i stop masterbating for a few weeks, months possibly. will this go back to normal. will the cracks close up? will i heal?

Also to add to the before mentioned, in my online quest to find information on this I've read up on Pearly penile papules.  The bump appears to be something like that, but it is a single bump on the shaft-not a line or row like the pictures I saw. I was wondering if this was maybe this. Also I do masturbate not daily-but maybe an every other day thing and I was wondering if maybe this could be a cause of a wrinkle of pimple on the shaft.  This is very embarrassing and I do not want to talk to my parents about it if it is just a simple skin thing. Once again...PLEASE HELP. Thank you.

I'm kind of in the same predicament as Elcoocooi25. I'm 18 and have had unprotected sex with only one girl for a 5 month stint.  To my knowledge then she was clean and i always thought I was. Ever since I could remember I've had a small, sometimes red, but mostly flesh colored bump on the right tip of the shaft of my penis.  I never put too much thought into it until lately I got to looking at my penis closely and noticed more very, very tiny bumps, they look like goosebumps down the shaft of my penis.  Lately I've heard people talking about the girl I had relations with and that she may or may not had HPV.  I am worried about this bump and not that I contracted it from her, but maybe I gave her them.  I have a picture of the bump on the shaft but it is not too good or clear.  I'm hoping it's just a normal bump, but if not I need opinions on whether or not I should go to a doctor over this. Once again please help, I've now become a nervous wreck about it and feel bad.  Thank you.

Below is a picture of the bump on the top of my shaft.

From your description, I am confident that there is nothing physically wrong with you at all.  That you have put your sexual life on indefinite hold for this long is not a good thing.  Please show your penis to a skin doctor, to confirm that you are overinterpreting normal skin findings.  Then get the counseling you need to get you life moving again.

Good luck.

i would also like to add that there is no bleeding involved nor pus. it doesn't seem to hurt when i touch it. though that area is a little red. but it does hurt from time to time when semen gets on it. anyways any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
