Hi,

Methotrexate is usually given for a period till the cumulative dose reaches 1 to 1.5 gm. This depends on the patient's dose, treatment schedule and rest periods from the drug.
Please note there may be other reasons for discontinuing the drug depending on the response and benefit analysis

You may find more information on: www.psoriasis.org/treatment/psoriasis/systemics/methotrexate.php

Let us know if this answered your question or if you need more information.

Best regards
