moisturize or not?

hi , so after frantically looking online, i think i have started suffering (yes suffering) with fordyce spots, they arent painful but they look  horendous! ive been reading that blistex might help, and it does soothe , but seems to make the condition worse!  im just wondering, since these are supposed to be oil glands acting up, could i have been using too much moistureizer on my lips? should i let them just stay dry (even though its uncomfortable)? i dont know what to do ive had them for about two weeks without any relief and my lips  are nice and plump..haha, but they feel horrible!

I can understand if the spots dont look good,but the are not felt, or cause symptoms.If you could kindly send a pic,a reply could be given to solve the problem,if there is any.
