mole in perineum region

HI! I guess I just need some reassurance. I am 43 and recently started having dermatology checkups. I have had 2 moles removed. One was mildly dysplastic and the other one was OK. Needless to say, I have become much more aware of my skin.
I was having some irritation in the perineum region so I got out a mirror to take a look and happened to see two dark grey moles or freckles. I am dark haired with a light olive skin tone. The moles are side by side, dark and flat. I don't know if they have been there forever or are new arrivals. The larger one is 2-3mm. Because of thr darker skin pigment in that area I don't know if I should be concerned or not. Any advice would be great.
