mole re-growth

Hi
I have fairly pale, freckly skin and also have a few raised moles around my body which are brown in colour.
In the past few years I have noticed more of these moles appearing, some skin colour.
I had 3 removed from my face by a surgeon, but one of them has grown back after only a few months. At first I thought it was just a spot as it was tender to touch and was quite red. But now I've noticed it seems to be the mole only now its a deep red colour. I'm quite worried about this!

Recurrence and regrowth of mole is common after mole removal. Now since it has regrown, if you notice changes in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful. Then complete removal of the mole may be needed and biopsy done.
