a mole n my face i accidently scratched off and it is bleeding is this a serious case?

Hi,

A bleeding mole can be caused by irritation while a mole is scratched or rubbed off with the skin or clothing just like in your case. Bleeding from moles could be due to the scratched veins present. A bleeding mole may or may not pose a medical threat. It would be best to see your dermatologist for further evaluation.You could have it biopsied to ease your anxiety. It is also important to know that a mole which increases in size, or with irregular edges and  with varying colors usually needs immediate attention from your doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
