ive had the same mole as long as i can remember. its tiny and brown but three months ago it started turning purple around it. then a lump formed underneith the size of a marble. now its still purple /red and it hurts it on my butt so i hafta sit on it.

Any changes in a mole such as color or border warrants further evaluation by your doctor. Are there other symptoms present? This could also be due to an infection or inflammed hair follicles.
