molloscum

i was diagnosed with mollosum about a month ago but have had them for about 3 months. i have been treating them with aldara and they are slowly starting to fade. i have probably only 6 small lesions on my vaginal area. i have not been having sex because of this but recently a guy ended up fingering me. is it possible to spread molloscum by manual stimulation? could he have it? can it be on his fingers and then he touches his body and be spread to him?

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral infection of the skin or occasionally of the mucous membranes.In adults, molluscum infections are often sexually transmitted and usually affect the genitals, lower abdomen, buttocks, and inner thighs.
The time from infection to the appearance of lesions ranges from 2 week to 6 months, with an average incubation period of 6 weeks.
Individual molluscum lesions may go away on their own and are reported as lasting generally from 6 to 8 weeks to 2 or 3 months.
Many health professionals recommend treating bumps located in the genital area to prevent them from spreading.

If he did come into contact with one of the lesions, in all probability he would be infected.
