I have an unidentifiable skin condition on my thighs and rear. It has been around for several years. It is not eczema as I have been exposed to that before and know what it looks like. My condition is hardly even classifiable as a rash. The bumps are skin colored, small, and only become red if I scratchAllergy skin prick or scratch test Allergy testing at them. They are spaced 2-4" apart and cover the back of my legs and the surrounding vicinity. They do not itch or hurt, but they are unattractive in certain lights. Do these symptoms resemble something easily recognizable? Is there a good strong cream out there to treat such a condition?
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be keratosis pilaris. It is a commonCommon cold genetic follicular condition that is manifested by the appearance of rough bumps on the skin and hence colloquially referred to as "chicken skin".

Keratosis pilaris occurs when the human body produces excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin. There is currently no known cure for keratosis pilaris, however, there are effective treatments available which make its symptoms less apparent. Treatment includes tretinoin or Triamcinolone cream or Adapalene, a retinoid medication. Exfoliation, intensive moisturizing creams, creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids and urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin.
I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Warm regards.
