nervous about bumps

three ngihts ago I had unprotectes sex with a girl I know.I know she has had sex with a few different guys and I can assume she doesnt make them use condoms all the time. The day after I had sex with her...exactly a day...it was the following night...I noticed a few red bumps at the bottom of my penis right near the pubic area..I ahve gotten little red bumps on my penis before...they look liek pimples and I have never been concerned about them...but I am nervous about these...I have had them for 2 days now....I just went to the doctor and got herpes and clamydia tests....They are red bumps, looking like irritated follicles...She was stubly in ehr pubic area and we had sex a couple of time that night and this was the first time I had sex in about almost 8 months...I feel like it may be irritation from friction of very rough sex...she was wet and the act of sex was hurting me a bit at the time.i Havent had any trouble urinating....They dont look like blisters to me, but they are red bumps...i have about 4 of them in a similar region...I got a test but the results will take almost a week...anything u can tell me I would really appreciate.I am very nervous and I am a hyperchondriac
Thanks,B

I really haven't got anything to add.  If you're still nervous, please show the bumps to a doctor.

For starters, two reasons: 1)They came on too fast for herpes (incubation 3-5 days.) @)They are bumps and not blisters.

I think you have irritated follicles, as you yourself suggest.  This doesn't sound like herpes.  Also, you were wise to get checked in a timely fashion, so the test they did will be reliable if, as I expect, it will be negative.  Meantime, just clean and lubricate the area gently and don't worry.

Best.
