goodmorning Dr.
my mother got some sort of nodule under her left eye...it appeared about 3 or 4 years ago ...its size is fixed but some times i feel it increased in size(i am not sure how much it increases),its painless and doesnt affedct vision at all...plz tell us it its dangerous or risky and which better way to remove it .thanku very much
Can you elaborate on the nodule ( size, description, etc) ? If there was no trauma to this eye, this could be a cyst, a lipomaLipoma - arm, sebacious gland, etc. Have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management . Direct clinical examination is important to reach a diagnosis. At this point ask her to avoid manipulating the area. Treatment will depend on the underlying condition.
