nose redness

nose redness

The outside of my nose has been persistently red for going on probably three months now, and it is also a little under my eyes on my upper cheeks. I believe its due to a bad sunburn i received but i assumed that would have cleared up by now. There is no presence of pimples and i am a male in my teens so i believe that rosacea is not what is happening.  If anyone can help with the problem or suggest solutions please do.

Hello,
It sounds like rosacea. Rosacea is a cutaneous disorder of the central part of the face such as forehead, cheeks, nose and chin.
Treatment options vary from antibiotic creams, antihistaminics, sun screens to laser treatment.A dermatologist’s evaluation will be the best in differentiating whether it is rosacea or not.Other possibilities are seborrheic dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis(less likely).

Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
