nostril fungus
for  many years i have been bothered with a fungal growth or other skin infection in my nostrils. i  treat it with Cortisporin ointment which softens the lesion and alows me to remove it using a fingernail. after removal it does not reappear for two or three days then i repeat the process. if i do not remove it my nostrills become very dry and uncomfortable.

Hello,
Dry nostrils can be due to dry air, air conditioning, eczema, sjogren’s syndrome or keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Certain medicines like antihistamines, bronchodilators and atropine may also cause dry nostrils. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from an ENT specialist and get it evaluated.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
