nothing to be scared about kinda warts?

nothing to be scared about kinda warts?

i went to the doctor the other day and got checked out because i was freaking out over this (major anxiety). he told me they are warts but i had no need to worry and it was nothing serious. but...

they are located on the top of my thigh by the groin. not on the groin though, between the line of the groin and the thigh.

GROIN | | (warts on thigh)

(theres 3 of them that would all fit in a lima bean size shape, very close together)

also, this is the only spot their located..

he prescribed me some cream thats called silver sulfadiazine cream 50GM. im on day 2 of using the cream.

i thought it was herpes or something, but once again im jumping to conclusions and having anxiety attacks.

from what i've read, i dont have herpes. there is nothing on my shaft or scrotum. its been 7 months since i've last had sex. and herpes occurs within the first few days.

i dont have a soar throat, swollen glands, a fever or sickness.

you would figure after 7 months i'd have one of those symptoms right?

anyways, please give me some relaxing words doctor!

Silver sulfadiazine is an antibiotic that is used for superficial skin infections (or to prevent infection if the skin is irritated.)  It is not a treatment for warts.  Since you went to the doctor, that's who you should be asking this question to.  From what I can tell, your doctor didn't think you have herpes or any of the other things you're worried about, or he would have said so and treated you diffferently.  But since you seem to still have the same worries you went there with, you should call and ask for clarification.

Then you can relax.

Best.
