Hi,
Do you have any associated symptoms of
itching
Causes of vaginal itching
Eye burning - itching and discharge
Itching
Jock itch
Muscle twitching
Vaginal itching
etc?
There are several causes of white
spots
Birthmarks - pigmented
Liver spots
Measles, koplik spots - close-up
Mongolian blue spots
on the skin. You would have to consult a skin specialist to find out the definite diagnosis and rule out
tinea
Athlete's foot
Athlete's foot, tinea pedis
Dermatitis, reaction to tinea
Jock itch
Ringworm, tinea capitis - close-up
Ringworm, tinea corporis on an infant's leg
Ringworm, tinea corporis on the leg
Ringworm, tinea manuum on the finger
Ringworm, tinea on the hand and leg
Tinea (ringworm)
Tinea capitis
versicolor, pityriasis alba, vitiligo, lichen sclerosis et atrophicus and secondary to healing process after an injury.
Pityrospum ovale or Tinea Versicolor is a yeast like organism - treatment is with oral medication called Nizoral , topical are not that effective.
Another possibility is a form of eczema called Pityriasis Alba- treated with topical cortisone.
Let us know about what the skin specialist advises and post us about how you are doing and if you have any other doubts.
Regards.
