A fungal infection is a differential here. However, you have mentioned that you have been using a leather glove prior to the onset of the rash. I am considering contact dermatitis here. You may need oral antihistamines or topical corticosteroids for this. Discuss this with your doctor. Do not take the antihistamines without informing your doctor. Stop wearing the gloves. Skin scrapings from the area may be obtained for microscopic evaluation to ascertain if a fungal infection is present.
