penile dermatitis?

Hello Doctor
I'm a 29 year old male, circumsized and have a red spot on the head of my penis towards the back near the rim(about the size of a fingernail)that won't seem to go away.I noticed it about 8 months ago but never really paid much attention to it as I thought it was some sort of irritation.I use scented body wash and thought it may be some sort of allergic reaction.I stopped using the bodywash on my genitals about 2 weeks ago and it seemed to help. The spot is not raised nor does it have any pain or ever blistered or weeped but it's a little shiny.I've been using clotrimazole for about 4 days and it seems to help but doesn't go away completely. It's more noticeable when I wake up in the morning and then fades during the day and also fades when I have an erection.I've had 2 sex partners my whole life one of which I have a child with and was tested for everything under the sun when she was pregnant and came back negative the other was my ex-wife.We were both tested for std's and were negative. My ex-wife and I had sex about 2 to 3 times a day.We separated 9 months ago.Could this be the after affects of lots of sex or some sort of dermatitis? Also I have athletes foot so I'm thinking it may be a yeast infection b/c my ex-wife had 2 while we were together and I never took any medication for it in case I contracted one.As I stated earlier there is no pain or discomfort other than visually. It drives me crazy and I check it at least 3-4 times a day which I know can't be helping me mentally. It's like the saying"A watched pot never boils".Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Hi doctor,
I am a 30 year old uncircumsized male and for the past 1 year and half been seeing white flaky skin like deposits on my penis head all the way to the end of the penis. There is no irratation, burning sensation of any sorts and i have protected sex all the time. I take shower twice and day and make sure to rinse my genitals with water but the problem still persists. What possibly can be the reason for such a growth coz i didn have such an issue couple of years back. Even after i wash it off it returns back the next day.

First, just as an FYI doctors dont usually post in the 'support' forums... its pretty much for folks to talk amongst themselves.

You might try going to a dermatologist if you havent already... in general though your STD free so no worry there and its not causing you discomfort other than obsessing about it so its not that bad.

I do know that marks, spots and what not appear and disappear down there all the time though... just usually dont notice them.

ive been dealing with a similar red spot of my own for about 18 months now... except in my case its very sensitive and uncomfortable so I have an idea about obessing on such things.
