penis bruising

my husband i always complain about after sex with his penis kind of bruise or hurting for a good 2-3 days.  i have the mirena a form of birth control..now the last time it happen it last a week saying its more pain on th vein that hurts or anything the go next to it or even taking a shower...it there some he can do to make it better or he wolud have to see the doctor

It can be due to trauma or friction rub of penis. It can also be due to trauma, sexual intercourse, masturbation, sexually transmitted disease, penile injury, skin entrapment in clothing etc. Normally bruising due to non infectious causes would resolve within 8-10 days. Maintaining good genital hygiene, using soft underpants would help. See a urologist if bruising persists after 10 days.
