perianal warts problems

Hello,
I have a question, recently I noticed a wart on my perianal and its the same color as my skin. sometimes when I use the toilet I notice blood on the tissue, on and off....I dont knw what it is, since I have never had a wart before. plz help me answer my question, because am afraid to do by a doctor because I may feel ashamed.

Hello,
From the description of your symptoms it sounds like external haemorrhoids.It is due to swelling and inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus. Increased straining during bowel movements, by constipation or diarrhea, may lead to hemorrhoids.

Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may include painful swelling,bleeding or a hard lump around the anus which may itch.Treatment includes sclerotherapy,rubber band ligation,cryosurgery or Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy.Pls consult a surgeon and get it evaluated.The other possibilities of anal fistula or fissure also have to be evaluated.
