petechiae

long story short, ive had these red spots from sept 11- til now. They literally all went away for a few days recently and now my friends are back- ive had blood drawn 3 times and all my docs say this is nothing. im worried though, and everyone thinks im just being crazy at this point because ive gotten a clean bill of health and my blood work was normal. The dots don't blanch and if i scratch i dont get blood but they do disappear. They do look like blood to me but doctors have said they it isnt petechiae i just dont think they are right - right now they are mostly on my leg i have 3 on my stomach, sometimes my arms but rarely, anyone have ideas???????? im 24 female.

I have an extreme amount of little red dots primarly on my belly and thighs. If your rub the area the color goes away but comes back. Been present a while now with out any symptoms. In middle school I had more pimples then any one else at the school. Is there anything over yhe counter to make them go away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
If the red spots do not blanch then it can be due to bleeding in the skin and can be petechiae or ecchymosis. Petechiae are pinpoint-sized red dots under the surface of the skin. They are common after skin trauma and viral infections. They should go away in a few days. But if they persist then please consult a physician and get other causes ruled out which include allergic reaction, autoimmune diseases, thrombocytopenia, ITP or leukemias.

My sincere advice is to get it examined from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
