Hi i am a 24 year old female with discolouartion of my skin on my lower legs.what are the possible reasons my lower legs on the shin area & above the ankle area are discoloured and also my forearms appear to be slightly discoloured (@the are around the elbow). I have no history of medical problems. My skin is generally dry on my limbs. I have also noticed a change in skin texture in the areas of discolouration on my lower limbs. There are some areas that almost seem slightly granular. I had abit of trauma to my legs a few years ago when i visited a tropical country. I had boils on my legs which did heal but left scars. The discolouration has been around since then but the change in texture is now worrying me. What could this darkening of my skin and granular texture be due to? and what are the treatments? Thank you so much
