pimples on areolas

I saw a post by a couple of people who stated they had pimples on their areolas. i have these, as well - and have for years. As the doctor responded, a white substance comes out (he referred to them as cysts). Is this normal? What happens if you squeeze them regularly to remove the white stuff? Does that cause long term damage? I have recently gotten pregnant - will that affect my ability to breast feed?
