pimples on scrotum

i had somepimples on my scrotum for laz aprox 5 years...

but they were itchy ... so few months ago i tried to pop one out... and it worked,,,, but after poppin it became a lump kind... poping onwards wasnt useful.. nothin came out... the lmp remained..

then i tried another way.. i kept forcing it out for a week,, ,and finally a lil bal kind of thing came out... didnt bleed much,,,, the ball i found was of powder knd of material....

then i tried same experment on other pimples too,,,, they all used to come out in form of dried or semi solid little balls...

wat im doin is ok.. or shud i leave thm on my skin

Hello,

From the description of your symptoms,they sound like folliculitis or sebaceous cysts. Folliculitis is inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin.

Sebaceous cyst is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin and fills with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum produced by sebaceous glands of the epidermis.It is usually painless but can become painful if infected.

Pls don’t mess with them as they are harmless and popping them will invite infections. Instead apply calamine and warm compresses on them.If they start increasing in size then a dermatologist’s opinion is desirable to rule out genital warts.
