hi, for the past few months every so often i get a few what looks to be pimples where my thigh meets my buttocks but closer to the vagina, but not on it.. i'd say 3 inches away. i never thought it was herpes because i seem to get pimples in various places all the time and these pimples seemed to appear after heavy workouts but not after every one, but after researching herpes im scared to think thats what it is. they never look like blisters, just regular butt pimples. they are also on both sides of my buttocks and 2 of them are completely parrellel and seem to rub together when im in motion. they also have never looked like blisters. every time i got them i would just try and pop them and put acne medication on it then they would kind of scab and heal which i thought was normal because thats what happens when i get pimples on my face
are damaged. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
They appear as pimples or pustules located around a hair follicle, usually preceded by or associated with itching skin.
You can treat this with topical antiseptic ointment which is adequate for most cases.
Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment can also be applied on the bumps to hasten the resolution.
