Well it doesn't really crust, just dots of crust. Like i said, very tiny. I am just concerned that it might be somethin more serious. but i know i have to get it checked out.
Hi
This seems to be a chronic inflammatory skin condition. For chronic skin conditions which may appear with crusting or scaling, we may consider a dermatitic or eczematous skin condition. Scaling may be associated with fungal infections. For dermatitis or eczema, there is really no definite treatment for the skin condition. Topical corticosteroids may control the flares but antibiotics may be necessary if redness and discharge are present.
this has been present for a year. and has not changed in size , and just itches sometimes, now it has been getting this tiny crust things on it for the past 2 weeks
Hi
For pinkish bumps on the skin which crusts, then we have to consider a bacterial infection or a fungal infection. For how long have you been experiencing this? I suggest that you wash the area with warm water and keep the area clean and dry. Applying topical antibiotic cream over the affected areas may help. Observe for 3 days. If the skin does not respond to the antibiotics, then pursue physician's consult so that this will be further evaluated.
