Hi,

A blood test is not a diagnostic tool used to determine the presence of pinworms.Pinworms are best determined through visual examination done by doing a tape test. The worms may be seen at night when they migrate and they may be identified by applying a scotch tape near the opening of the anus. This tape may be examined under the microscope to identify pinworm eggs and adult worms.

Have you been experiencing itchiness in the anal area lately?
