pitiryasis Rosea

by cawdkelly, Oct 29, 2007 11:31AM
hi doc...i live in jamaica and was diagnosed last year with pitiryasis rosea. this diagnosis came after four misdiagnosis ranging from fungus to excema. i have highly sensitive skin an is proned to eczea. about 4 weeks ago i got a rash on my leg about 2 inches below my knee, this was diagnosed as ringworm, however a huge amount of smaller circular to ocal rashes have appeared. they start dar red then eventually turn very dak almost black, then turn scaly and start peeling. new ones are stll appearing even though the first ones are drying up. the last diagnosis was innonclusive and a possibility is severe allergic reaction to an unknown stimuli. they are concentrated on my arms and thighs, however a few are on my trunk area. i think it could be PR again. is it possible to reoccur and it is only itching mildly, while last year it was itching severly.
