Hi my daughter has broke out with what seems to be pityriasis rosaria. We went to the doctor...and this is what she says it most likely is. She has her skin scraped, and we are awaiting results. We were prescribed a cream for itching and some clariton. Internal and external relief of the symptoms. Other things to do would be exposure to UV light...
How much time do you recommend someone spends on a daily basis. 5 minute? 20 minutes?
I also read about some anitviral drugs...acyclovir and famciclovir.... that may reduce the time down to 1 or 2 weeks.
and also the anitbiotic Erythromycin.....Do you know or have any opinions about these other treatments. Thanks in advance for any help.
