pityriasis rosea and tanning beds

by anspiel, May 15, 2009 03:17PM
I am using tanning beds/booths at least 5 steady days per week to treat pityriasis rosea. I still get new spots, but the tanning seems to help them disappear much faster than the initial rash did.  Will the beds that tan the deeper layer of skin help prevent the new outbreaks ?  Will there be pigmentation problems due to more bronzing in these?  I did notice a couple of dark circles in one area, although most of the rash has disappeared nicely.I currently use the beds that tan more of the outer layer of skin.
