please help my baby, tiny red itchy bumps on soles of her feet

My 18 month old has been suffering for a week now, she has tiny red semi raised spots on the soles of her feet. At first we thought maybe she stepped on a nettle when she got out of her "pool" and was running in our yard barefoot.
I Gave her a couple of days and just sprayed her feet with Bactine to relieve the pain and itching at night and in the morning. During the day she has been busy playing and distracted so she doesn't complain about them often, but I still see her scratching them or rubbing them together while she is busy.
I was hoping that they would resolve. They haven't.
They look like little red, slightly raised pin-pricks. She scratches and then cries and calls them boo boo's they cover a large portion of the sole's of both her feet. They don't seem to have spread, they are not anywhere else on her. Today I am trying a cortizone cream, (over the counter) will try Tea Tree oil if there is no improvement from this.
Please Help, if you have any suggestions!

My daughter has the same bumps on her feet and palms and she also scratches them. I took her to my dermatologist yesterday and was advised that it is a foot and hand breakout that is usually in small children who have sweat glands that have not yet developed. Your child will eventually grow out of it. My dermatologist prescribed a cream called cloderm (clocortolone pivalate) cream 0.1%. The cream stops the itching and the bumps will go away when her sweat glands mature.

Thank you for taking the time to make some suggestions for my daughter. Since my post I did take her to the pediatritian, who thought maybe contact dermatitis. but now the condition has spread to her palms and between a couple of fingers and on one thigh. She has been treated for scabies and athletes foot. Neither has caused improvement. I know it is not possible to Diagnose online, I am hoping for avenues to research in order to hope to bring her some relief. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Such itchy sores on soles of babies can be due to viral infections like hands, foot and mouth disease or allergic reaction. I suggest you to get her evaluated from a pediatrician rather than trying any medicines on your own. Another possibility can be insect bites or scabies bites.

Till that time, avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like baby soap and apply calamine lotion on the itchy skin. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
