four days ago I was exposed -35 to -40 degree weather. Problems with my son's vehicle and then as it got colder more trouble with my own vehicle.
I was on my knee
and tingle as well as sting.
Tonight they just hurt, throb and ache as well as the numbness and burning. They tingle and almost move by themselves.
My husband says there is so much heat
coming from them it's amazing.
I am concerned I may have gotten some frostbite in them and just don't know what to do to stop the pain. I can't touch cold and heat just makes it worse.
Should I see my doctor? I really hate to do that because he always make me feel like I don't know what I'm talking about or the symptoms I am talking about don't make any sense.
I hate that feeling but it always happens.
Is there a treatment that I need to think about? And therefore have to see the doctor? Would treatment at this stage be needed and could help me before it gets worse?
the reason your doctor makes you feel like you dont know what your talking about is because you dont know what your talking about, which is why your not a doctor. pathology as you describe is serious and should be diagnosed by a doctor in time to take preventative steps in order to eliminate the need for amputation. if your finger is getting worse you should seek professional medical advise, if its getting better you should minimize its use and protect it until it is fully healed.
