possible irritation from Elidel cream.

Last week I went to my dermatologist because It appeared as though I was starting to have  an occasional breakout of psoriasis in my groinal/inner thighs area, which is a typical spot for it to break out on my body. My docotor pescribed Elidel and I started using it Wed night. Well about a day and a half later I noticed that it was making my genital/groinal area completely warm, especially my penis. I was worried and I read the directions of Elidel and it said some common side effects are that it gives off a feeling of warmth in the area applied in the first 3-5 days or so.

But it worries me because I didn't apply the cream at all to my penis, and I don't know why that would be affected. Unless it somehow made contact with the cream on my thighs. Also sometimes during urination and ejaculation I will have this very minor pain/tingling and hot feeling, but only for a moment. Its not really a major pain, but definately noticeable. Its getting pretty stressful because about 8 weeks ago I was exposed to HPV from a girl, and I have basically been sypmtom and STD paranoid , especially about possibly catching Herpes. I have had no visible  signs of any warts or blisters or anything and before I started using this cream I didn't notice this hot/slight tingling feeling in my penis at all. So i don't know if this cream is having a side effect with my body or maybe this is something STI/ STD related. I've been to the doctor and tested negative for for everything except Herpes, because the doctor said if I've ever had a cold sore or blister, the blood test would likely detect antibodies anyways.

So I don't know what to think , but any help would be appreciated.

I have herpes and also lichen sclerosis. My doctor prescribed elidel and basically told me to use or twice a day everyday forever. But it says not to use of you have herpes. What is the best thing to do?
