possible skin abnormality development on foreskin

I'm not sure what to think about this, I've read all over these forums and haven't really found anyone with something quite like this. First off let me say that I am circumsized. About 2-3 months ago I noticed that when my penis is flaccid, among the foreskin skin that bunches up when flaccid there is what appears to be a bump about the size of a pen tip, it stands out amongs the surrounding skin which neatly bunches up uniformly. The strange thing about this though is that when erect or when i pull the skin tight it disapears pretty much completely, leaving only some slight redness in the skin where it used to be. When running my finger across it I do not notice any lumps when pulled flat, whatever this is it appears as if the source may be under the skin rather than growing on the skin such as a wart might.

I should also inform you that I have had some persistant form of jock itch for about 8 years now, it hasn't ever really effected any areas except my crotch region. this may or may not be related.

I have been scared for the longest time of a possible wart, however, my only sexual encounter was with a single woman receiving unprotected oral. I know that many sites will say this is a possible means of transmission but Dr. Hunter on the other forums once wrote in a post that there has never been a single documented case of transmission of hpv in this manner.

I have had my share of warts of all types on my arms and fingers before and it is nothing like that.

from what I've read on your posts about warts they cannot be pulled flat when the skin is pulled tight? is this a correct assumption? when erect you would not even know it was there but if you look closely the skin is very slightly red there. It is skin colored when flaccid.

there is no pain, but sometimes i seem to think i may feel something but not sure if its in my head or not from thinking about it too much.

One last note, something about the skin over my entire penis seems different lately as well, it seems more wrinkly than it used to be at times.

any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated,

I attempted to do the payment post but something is wrong with the verisign system and it denied both of my cards which i know are good, i use them daily.

thank you for your time.

For the past 15 days I have observed some white gland like structures developing on foreskin of the penis. These are neither irritating nor painful or itchy. I am sure that these are not warts as well. I am uncircumsized. I am worried because these are slightly growing in size. They are not even bumpy when the penis is erect. There is no abnormal growth anywhere on the penis or the foreskin except for some odd rash in the groin area.

What's my problem??

Hi,

Based on what you have posted ,this does not seem to be something to worry about. I know you are highly anxious about this but small solitary skin colored bumps on the penis may actually be blocked sweat glands or hair follicles. This does not sound like genital warts. Genital warts have a rough irregular surface much like the common warts one notes in other parts of the body. Molluscum usually appears in clusters and the lesions  have a depressed center. Herpetic infections also cluster together and the vesicles contain whitish to yellow fluid.

I know you are worried about this being a genital wart. Just continue to observe the skin condition. Avoid unnecessarily manipulating or touching the area as this may only irritate the skin. Check for any growth, discoloration, pain and discharge. If there are no further changes, this may not require any intervention. Just to allay your fears however, it is best to have this assessed by a dermatologist or urologist.
