post inflammatory hyperpigmentation post laser

by redma, Jan 29, 2009 12:30AM
HI
I had the fraxel re:pair(co2) procedure 5months ago. Originally I wanted to have the procedure to my eye and forehead region for some fine wrinkles but when I was on the table my doctor convinced me to have my entire face done to prevent being able to see where I had the laser and where I didnt. Iam 36 years old and had very good skin. Unfortunately I now have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation all over my face. My doctor has recommended I have the fraxel re:store erbium laser at low energy levels to repair this damage. What do you recommend?
