about 2 months ago I experienced an early miscarriage. I am now 6 weeks pregnant again, directly following the miscarriage. I have suddenly started losing a lot hair.
At the age of six, I experienced alopecia totalis, then had alopecia areata at eleven. I am now 31 years old and have not had any episodes since.
My question is, would this hair shedding be more from a hormonal thing, stemming from the miscarriage, or should I be concerned that it is alopecia areata again?
