I have TINY bumps on my upper lip that i cant feel unless i lick them they dont hurt or itch arent swollen or even visible unless i pull my lip to show them . the corners of my mouth itch as if im getting a cold sore which im familiar with because ive had them.. I do have extremely sensitive skin BUT I'm 4 mos pregnant going on 5 so im thinking maybe its the pregnancy because I have no other explanation i've never had the bumps before & my husband and I have been tested many times and are both clean with no history of any std/etc. what can it be ?
These bumps are due to Fordyce spots. They are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips and are not due to any disease.
Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization.
