problem with diagnosis ? white tongue?

okay, so i went to the gyn the other day..turns out like i thought i had a minor yeast infection. i've been on the medicine and everything seems to be fine down there however i noticed my tongue is getting something that resembles a white coating. i asked my gyn about it and she told me to see my regular physician. i went to my doctor and she told me that there seemed to be nothing wrong and sometimes when you feel under the weather you can get this symptom. however, i am still freaked out about my tongue and i don't want any conditions to get any worse. i've only noticed it for the past 3 days, a somewhat white patch that looks like little bumps on the back of my tongue. so even though both medical professionals i went too said it did not appear to be thrush or a yeast infection in my mouth, i am very worried and want to know what it is or how i can fix this. any information is much appreciated thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like oral thrush. I would advise you to get a swab sample of the white coating and then starting with antifungal drugs after consulting an ENT surgeon.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi keep your eye on it as you can get candida in the mouth also.
If it gets worse get back to the GP who will prescribe nystatin for oral thrush.
You can get candida with hormonal changes, excess antibiotics, or when your run down.
Stress makes it worse, and also avoid sugar, as candida loves warm moist areas.
Sugars make it worse.
Hope this helps
