psoriasiform spongiatic dermatitis

I'm looking for a treatment for psoriasiform spongiatic dermatitis. I've been suffering with it for 5 years. It's affected all my fingers, and is now passed on to my toes. I've tried cortisone creams and accupuncture, to no avail.

Spongiotic dermatitis is acute eczema. The most commonly attributed causes of spongiotic dermatitis is that it occurs due to allergic reactions and it can come about because of an allergy to food, insect bites and even drugs can cause this condition. You need to take antihistaminics for itching, topical steroids and oral steroids which are available under prescription and plenty of emollients for your skin. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist.

my son was diagnose with psoriasiform spongiotic dermatitus from skin biopsy.  He was broken out very bad with sores and extremely flakey skin in ears and forehead.  Dr. prescribed prednizone for a certain of time.  It started clearing up dramatically about two days (mind you he has had this for months) and he has a cream.  Although there is no cure for it the prednizone has cleared it up dramatically.  People where constantly asking him what was wrong because his sores were so bad.  Again, get doctor to put you on prednizone for a brief period and it should clear up some and then use the cream when it starts to break out again.
