Hallo Kindd,
I went to see my Dermatologist yesterday, she said that the mole wasn't completely removed just the portion of it (as you said earlier too). It’s growing under the scar so looks weird, but not dangerous. She said she can remove it, (whole thing, I don't know why she didn't do it in the first place) or leave it as it is. I am scared to touch it, but also since is growing and exposed to sun a lot I want to get over with and get it removed now. I am really not sure what to do. I told her I will think about it and call her with a decision in about a week or so.
I want to thank you very much; I appreciate all your help. I am so glad that we have this website helps a lot.
Nina
You are so nice...
That makes me feel better, i ve been thinking about it all week but tomorrow at 3 i will see my dermatologist :) and i ll let you know.
Thank you, thank you very much i am so relieved for now ;)
Hello,
Color changes when pressing is not indicative of melanoma. For melanoma, variation of color (e.g., more than one color or shade) within a mole is a suspicious finding. Different shades of browns, blues, reds, whites, and blacks are all concerning.
Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
Tkank you so much for your concern!!
But i still don't know what it is??? Iam waiting for my appointment with my dermatologist..
When you talk about Melanoma and changing color : could that be like being white and when touching it turns red??? thats how mine is....god that scares me!!
Thank you
Hello,
It looks like you had got shave excision of the mole done. This involves numbing the area around the mole and removing the top portion of it so it is flush with the surrounding skin. There is a chance that after this procedure the mole could re-grow.
I would suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist because a possibility of this being a melanoma has to be ruled out. Melanoma has an irregular border, is asymmetrical, uneven color and increasing in size. If you notice changes in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.
I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
