rash and swollen eyelid

Hi,
For about 2 months now my left lower eyelid has been getting swollen almost every week. Before it started to get swollen I got Tonsillitis and a little red spot appared on my left lower eyelid. After a couple days it was hard and then it flaked off. Thant happened many times.. it seemed like a cycle. My skin would be almost perfect for a couple days and then it would scab again and fall off. But then my eyelid (the one with the red spot) starting swelling up for about 24 hours. I went to the eye doctor and he gave some drops that seemed to work until the swelling came back about 10 days later. Another doctor gave me antibiotics but the same happened, and a third doctor gave a little cream about 10 days ago ( he told me to use it for one week so i stopped using it 4 days ago) and today my eyelid is swollen again. The red stop is still there but it hasn't scabbed again.
Any ideas what it could be? I'm getting tired of going to the doctor and taking stuff that is not doing anything.
