rash in pubic region

i have a rash occuring again  in the pubic region. I did have pubic lice about 5 months ago buti got rid of it quickly and i didnt really have a rash afterwards.
I now have a rash again in the pubic region. It is a very faint rash, when irritated it gets worse.
When i jsut clean the area with soap, it seems to help. but not going away..i kno its not pubi lice again, not sure wat it is...
Also when i touch my pubic area, not the penis.. jsut the pubic area it is pretty hot .. ?

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be due to dermatitis skin. Wash the areas with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
