rash on arm/palm- is it poison ivy?

i have this itchy rash that is on my forearm. There is also a single spot right below my palm. It started to itch alot. I did go play paintball in the woods so I dont if that has anything to do with it. It doesnt itch as bad. It has gotten more irritated. It did look like at one point on the one at the palm that there was some blisters that seem to open but have now gone but there is still red scabed skin. I am not sure but i think it might have spread to my knees. My knees itch now and have some red bumps/ rashes at itch. Does anyone have any advice. I have attached a pic. Its not the best but it gives an idea of what it looks like

Hi.

This could be an allergic reaction or insect bites.

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Wash all your clothes and linen etc in savlon, chlorhexidine solution and sun - dry them preferably.

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .

Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamines like loratadine or cetrizine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination. You might need injectables if your symptoms are persistent.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.

Regards.

thanks for the advice. I have not been to any doctor yet. The rash still seems to be there...its been almost a couple of weeks now. I probably try and get into my doctor this next week. It doesnt itch right now...but its weird because it will all of a sudden itch for a time period. Like I said before it seems to maybe have spread to other areas of the body where i itch but doesnt seem to be as irriated. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for the response
