rash on face and neck

I have a small rash from my right cheek beside my nose to my chin and on the left side of my neck about 1" below my ear.  It's red and bumpy and somewhat itchy.  It doesn't ooze--it's a dry rash.  It came up Saturday, and has gotten redder, though it may be starting to heal (I'm not sure).
I played with a puppy a couple days ago, could that have something to do with it?

Since you have had this rash after playing with a puppy, so the possibility of contact dermatitis is there. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some mild steroid cream on the rash. Also use a mild soap like Dove or Cetaphil for cleaning the face. If the symptoms persist then a dermatologist’s consultation will be the best.
