rash on penis need help

i first want to say is that my girlfriend hs been tested nd she doesn't have anything i went with her to plan parent hood and saw her test and when she took them... she is my first and has been no other.. like a month and a half ago i started getting this wierd itchin on the top  of my head of the penis.. and it would come and go but it never hurt either. and about three week ago i started to get a little rash on the side of my penis... my girlfriend said she had a yeast infection a couple of months ago when i saw some white cheesy stuff come out.. her doctor said she had some type of good bacteria to heal itself.. but what about me? i'm not in pain but now its getting worse.. i went to the doctor last week and he gave me KETOCONAZOLE and i don't see any improvement.. sometimes i feel like i'm going to discharge durring the day but nothing comes out, then it itches fo like a quick second then it stops.... it doesn't burn when i pee... i don't have a high temp..but i know something isn't right... i also took some jok itch medicine the docs told me to use before i went to the KETOCONOLE.. sometimes it feels like its inside my penis then other times i feel it itching on the ouside and now its spreading to my testicles and i think my thighs.. please help. i know my girl and i have clean std records.. thank you

This sounds like irritation or eczema rather than yeast or fungus.  I suggest stopping the ketoconazole, which kills yeast or fungus, and using a mild hydrocortisone, like 1% hydrocortisone, available without prescription.  Wash gently, moisturize if ou want.

I think that will clear your up.  If it doesn't do so in a week, show your doctor again.
