rash oon head of penis with a scab in center

Hello.  About 1 week ago I had a encounter with a female escort that provided a full body massage with sex.  About 4 days later i noticed round red rash with a small scab in center on the side of my penis head.  The scab looks like a small thorn.  Its been 2 days since I noticed this rash and it has not changed.  My initial thought was that it is a sign of herpes.  But the rash has not turned into a blister.  In addition I do not feel any pain urinating, or any pain when i touch the rash.  Besides anxiety I feel fine.  I have never had something like this happen to me before and it makes me concerned.  The reason I am concerned is because i recievd oral sex without a condum for about 3 to 4 minutes.  The sex I had was fully protected.  What makes me most concerned is that after the encounter i noticed some red spots around her vagina area and do not know if they were blisters or from shaving(u could tell she shaved recently).  There were no blisters anywhere on her face.  Before th sex act she rubbed her body against mine and her genital area im pretty sure rubbed agains some part of my penis.  My  question is as follows Could i have caught herpes from the encounter i have described?  If it were herpes would I be able to feel it and notice it.  There are no blisters but I do feel a scab.  The redness has actually gotten a little better but is still noticeble.  If it were herpes would blisters develop 48 hours after inital redness appeared?  Could it be a reaction from a condum or sex?  What could be causing this rash? Thank u for your time.

You could have caught herpes, but from your description, I don't think you did.  It sounds as though you have a small scab from irritation, nothing more.  An acute attack of herpes from a recent encounter would produce not just a couple of blisters but swollen glands, fever, and so forth.  I advise you to leave the scab alone and ignore it.  If it doesn't go away in a week let a doctor have a look.  Once the scab goes away, it may leave a mark for a while, but if the redness is flat, you should just let it alone.)

Take care.
