THANKS! that helps a lot and I will keep you posted I'm gonna use some of your advice now.
Hello,
From the symptoms the possibility of nummular dermatitis needs to be ruled out. It is a form of eczema. Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, Solvents, chemicals, certain foods, food additives, plants, metals, cosmetics, even urine and faeces of some animals (dust mites).
The mainstay of management is liberal use of moisturizers after washing with luke warm water. Soap should be used minimally. Moisturizers should be reapplied liberally during the day. Topical steroids also provide relief but they should be sued only after consulting a doctor.
If still the symptoms persist then consult a dermatologist for clinical examination.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
