rash

hi,

it's about 3 weeks that I am unders treatment with "Prednisilon", because of the inflammation on my retina.
For preventing bone destruction, the doctor has prescribed "Calcichew D3" for me, 2 tablets per day.
Now I have skin rash in different parts, as well as some skineruptions (spots) on the forehead.
What should I do with this problem now?

Well, in fact these skin problems started few days after I started taking Calcichew. Before that I was just using prednisolone and I didn' have this problem.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

The side effects of prednisolone include Impaired wound healing, petechiae, or facial erythema. Calcichew D3, on the other hand, may have side effects such as diarrhea or constipation, skin rashes and nausea.  Your skin rashes may be due to either of these medications. Inform your doctor for proper management. He or she may stop your medications or shift to another drug. Try to avoid scratching to prevent secondary infection.

Take care and regards.
