rashe on upper lip

i have had these litte white spots on my upper lip. none on bottom. the spots have  stayed in the middle of my lip but i've noticed one or two forming on the left side of my lip. i do chew tobacco and have not had any sexual activity for a few months. the spots do not hurt or itch in anyway. my mom is a nurse and she says its probably nothing. any ideas?

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like Fordyce spots. They are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips.
Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels (temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization. I sincerely hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Warm regards.
