recurrent impetigo

Hi a year a ago I had a small rash on my arm and ear, it had little blisters that burst and formed a honey colored crust.  My GP said it was impetigo, I was given fusidic  acid.  about 6 months later a got another similar rash, used the same cream and again it cleared up.  now a year + later I have several rashes all the same but much larger coverage all the same impetigo characteristics. I am using the cream and it's only been a few days so can't say it it will work yet.....   but my question is WHY do I keep getting impetigo?  I am a 35yr old healthy male, I wash regularly, have no kids ( the usual disease vector) .  should I be put on a oral antibiotics?
